Crazy Quilt or Memory Quilt

Instructor: Ania Reich

When: Saturday October 28th: 10:00am-4:00pm

Description:

Crazy quilts are made using irregular pieces of fabric and sewing them onto a foundation fabric or paper. The placement of the fabric may be random, asymmetric or carefully controlled. In all cases, the result is a fun and interesting quilt. In this class, you can create crazy quilting blocks or you can make a memory quilt. The difference is simple…crazy quilts are fun but do not necessarily relate to your personal life. A memory quilt is a specific type of crazy quilt. It can relate to any or all aspects of your life – your hobbies, family, childhood etc.
