Ages 10-16
This camp is for beginners who are eager to learn sewing. In camp, will learn about the sewing machine, how to thread, change a bobbin and sew straight using different stitches and techniques. The projects will include a trivet tray, a pillow case, a crossbody bags and a simple zipper bag. You will explore the store and select fabric for your projects. Everyone has a great time and you will learn so much. Parents and friends are so amazed at the finished project when you tell them you made it!!!
Machines will be provided as well has basic sewing supplies. You can purchase your own sewing supplies at the store if you want your own.
A light snack is included.
A kit fee of $50 is due at time of class. Kit fee includes all materials needed for students to complete projects.
