Current class guidelines:
  • Maximum 6 students in a class (unless otherwise noted), each student will have their own table. 
  • We request you bring your own materials (rotary cutter, rules, pins, scissors) to reduce sharing of materials.
  • If you have your own ironing station feel free to bring, else we will have ironing stations to share.  
  • Mask Policy - with the most recent news of the lifted mask mandate in Winston-Salem, masks are optional.

Evening Beginning Sewing

Have you taken Beginning Sewing or know the basics and want to know more? This class is the second step for beginners. You will be making a pillow and finishing it and adding piping, or ruffles. It will be finished with an envelope closure, zipper, or sewed shut. You will also be making a bag with a zipper.

Ready to give fabric weaving a try? Come and learn how to weave a fat quarter size fabric panel. You will have your choice of three different weaving techniques. The fabric panels can be used for pillows, pouches or bags, most anything you would use a fat quarter for. The class is scheduled for three weekly sessions. No sewing machine required.

We are so happy to bring back this event! Let?s have some fun at the Sewingly Yours Lock-In! Bring your machine, a sewing project to work on and a side or dessert to share. Sewingly Yours will provide the main dish for dinner.
