Simple Spring Outfit

- Many of you in Beginning Sewing have
asked us for a more advanced sewing
class. Teresa will show you how to read
and follow a pattern for garment sewing.
You will make a rayon skirt and a top to
match. You will learn how to put in darts
and clip curves, insert zippers, hem on the
serger and complete an ensemble you can
wear anywhere this Summer. You will have
homework to complete this project. A pattern
will be required.

your home. Bring a pillow form and fabric
to class with a machine (or you can borrow
one of ours). Call us and we will help you
choose the correct fabric for the type of
pillow you want to make.

English Tea Cozy

you can make your own! This is a lunch

keys. There is an inside pocket for silverware
and a vinyl liner that is removable for
washing. Your friends will be impressed.

Pillow Photo Fun

- Instructor: Pat Glaunert
- You will bring a photo of your favorite pet,
or child or anything else that has meaning
to you and we will show you how to transfer
that picture onto fabric. A package of
Printed Treasures will be required for this
class. You will want to have your piece
printed before class so you can start your
pillow construction. Just call ahead so we
can expect you and set that time aside.
You will take away a technique that will be
used over and over.

Pamper Your Pooch

- This is a raincoat most suited for small
dogs. A hood keeps the head dry and an
underbelly strap keeps the poncho back in place. You will be working with vinyl,
plastic and fabrics. You will also learn
about various closure techniques. What a
fun class this will be.

feet will do. This class is only for
learning about your sewing machine and
not embroidery. We will only take 6 people
for this class.
